Winter Wonderland

It’s not very often that Washington State gets hit by a massive amount of snow as we have right now. I love snow, it’s pretty and fun for a short bit, but I think I am over it now. This snow storm has reeked massive havoc on our state.

It’s been crazy around here and half if not more of Seattle gets shut down. It makes sense of course because of all of the hills we have around here and not to mention the idiot drivers who think they know everything about driving in the snow, and yet even when the sun is out they have problems. I am by no means myself a perfect driver, but I know when to leave my car parked. I have to say this cabin fever is starting to get to me a bit. It’s been a week since I have left my town. I have gotten out and walked all over the place which has been fun, but I’m ready for the snow to melt now and things to get back to semi-normalcy.

I do have to say though that I have some pretty great friends. I went to a friend’s house on Monday for a bonfire and that’s when the snow started. I was there for about three days and they took great care of me. Thanks to them I was able to get back home safe. My car is still there buried in the snow. It makes me miss my truck. I will have a truck again some day with 4wd. It saved me so many times. All in good time.

I hope everyone has stayed safe out there. What has been one of the best things that has happened because of this snow storm? They say something good always comes from something bad. For me it was making up with a great friend.
